The Mittelbayerische Zeitung online as a news app. News local to global. Look forward to daily news from Regensburg, Bavaria - and all over the world. The free news app also includes content from our local editions Bayerwald-Echo, Kötztinger Umschau, Neumarkter Tagblatt and Wörther Anzeiger.

How to start the news app MZ News:
• First, please select the region that interests you the most. The content of the news app then automatically adapts to it.
• In the second step, please decide on the regions and/or topics for which you would like push notifications sent directly to your mobile device. The selection can be changed at any time under "Settings" (top right next to the logo).

MZ News news app features:
• News from your region: Regensburg, Upper Palatinate plus neighboring areas, all of Bavaria and from all over the world
• National news from politics, sports, business, culture and panorama
• Up-to-date police reports from your region
• If desired, regular push notifications as a free subscription
• Share function for all articles
