Proper ventilation can prevent mold growth. Mold requires a certain minimum moisture to grow. The humidity is maintained by controlled ventilation in an optimal range, you reduce the likelihood of mold growth dramatically and also create a healthier indoor environment.
Tips for proper ventilation of living rooms, many on the Internet. But often there is no indication that one must consider when airing on the outdoor humidity.
