The Palmer Batting App was put together by Gary Palmer and it is one of the most detailed and comprehensive batting apps on the market today. Gary has been coaching for over 35 years. He has built up a wealth of experience and deep learning of his skill sets. He has coached all over the world and has a wealth of experience of working with coaches and players from all ages and standards from the beginner to the International. Gary has worked privately with many professional cricketers many of which are Internationals. Sir Alastair Cook , Shan Masood, Keiron Powell and Dom Sibley just to name a few. He has a reputation as being one of the best specialist technical batting coaches in the business. The Palmer Batting App has been designed to help players and coaches of all standards up to and including International players and coaches. The contents of the app include various sections. Front Foot Shot Back foot Shots Frontfoot Drills Backfoot Drills Themed Practices Technical Analysis The section on front and back foot shots gives a step by step technical break down on how to play all the key shots. There are also real time and slow motion demo videos from both front and side view. This section will give players and coaches real clarity on the most efficient and effective batting techniques as used by many of the worlds best players. The front and back foot drills section demonstrates new innovative and highly effective progressive drills that rapidly construct technique and overall skill levels. The drills will help players and coaches, construct, repair, maintain, enhance and challenge technique. All the drills are focused on players developing good Alignment, Balance and Completion of shot, which are the core structure of a good batting technique know as the ABC'S. Themed practices This section gives players and coaches ideas for Themed practices sessions such as. Trigger moves Playing the short ball Playing spin bowling Playing swing bowling using the 4 angles methodology. Dual machine advanced playing spin Dual machines advanced playing awing. ( ABC Technical challenge) 20 20 boundary hitting . The technical analysis section gives coaches and players an insight on How to access analyze and correct technique coupled with information on key common faults and the correction of those faults . Coaches will have clarity of technique and an array of drills, themed Practices with the ability to effectively technically analysis the players they work with. Coaches will also learn new coaching techniques. Players will have real technical clarity and a real understanding of the most efficient and effective batting techniques as used by the best players in the world. A Technique that makes batting easier and that allows a player the best chance to be successful in all formats of the game. Players will be able to utilise the drills, themed practices and the technical analysis section of the app so that they can self service the development and maintenance of there own technique. Its like having the coach in your back pocket on your mobile. Make batting easier and score more runs
