This Catholic edition of the Revised Standard Version was published in 1952, as a revision of the American Standard Version of 1901.

It contains the whole 73 books recognized by the Catholic Church, including the deuterocanonical books (Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, parts of Esther and parts of Daniel)
