[What is Doshaburu?]
"Doshaburu" uses the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's "XRAIN", which is real-time rainfall information, and the "Doshaburu Rainfall Index" (see [3]), which is related to the occurrence of landslides and is calculated based on this. This is an app that displays rainfall conditions on a map and by specifying a location and time.
*About predicted rainfall: We use high-resolution precipitation nowcasts provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency (Meteorological Business Support Center). High-resolution precipitation nowcasts provide live and 5-minute rainfall forecasts with rainfall intensity up to 30 minutes ahead on a 250m mesh and 35 to 60 minutes ahead on a 1km mesh. This app uses data every 10 minutes.
In addition, users who wish to display information on nearby designated emergency evacuation sites and designated evacuation shelters can be viewed by setting it to "evacuation mode."
"Doshable" is planned, researched and developed by Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd. with the advice of Associate Professor Hiroshi Takebayashi of the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University, and the production of the app is outsourced to Lapur Co., Ltd.
"Doshable" may be discontinued or discontinued without prior notice.

[1. Main functions]
(1) Display
●The background map can be selected from the standard map of the Geographical Survey Institute map (Geographical Survey Institute tile), light color map, aerial photograph, and OpenStreetMap.
●Displays information on “sediment disaster risk areas” and “sediment disaster warning areas” provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as national land numerical information
●Display the rainfall intensity by XRAIN with a color-coded mesh
●Rewind display of XRAIN information for the past 3 hours, Doshaburu Rainfall Index, and predicted rainfall intensity of high-resolution precipitation nowcast up to 60 minutes ahead is displayed in a color-coded mesh
●The shading of the XRAIN mesh can be adjusted
●Displays the Dashable Rainfall Index, which is related to the occurrence of surface landslides and debris flows, in a mesh color-coded by rank.
●Display the legend of XRAIN and Doshaburu Rainfall Index (can be switched ON/OFF)

(3) Rainfall status notification function
●Notification of information such as rainfall status with the following content

*Forecast and warning information uses the Japan Meteorological Agency's disaster prevention information XML, so there may be a delay of up to 10 minutes.
3-3) Location registration function
●Register locations (up to 4 locations) that will notify you of rainfall conditions, etc.
3-4) Designation notification
●Specify the location and time (every 10 minutes up to 60 minutes in advance) and display the rainfall status (XRAIN rainfall intensity) with icons and messages.
3-5) Regular notification
●Regularly notify you of the rainfall situation at registered points by specifying the time (2 times can be specified for each location)
(4) Evacuation mode
●Evacuation mode displays designated emergency evacuation sites and designated evacuation shelters (shelters)
●Evacuation mode displays the distance from the current location (if linked with GPS information) or the registered point to the three most recent evacuation shelters.
*Linking with GPS is only possible if the "GPS automatic tracking" function is turned on in the device settings.
●Displays the specifications of evacuation facility data provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as national land numerical information
[2. About XRAIN]
XRAIN is high-resolution radar rainfall distributed at 1-minute intervals for each 250m x 250m area. Compared to conventional radar, it has higher spatial and temporal precision, so it can more accurately grasp actual phenomena.
[3. About the Doshaburu Rainfall Index]
The "Dushaburu Rainfall Index" is an index that correlates with the occurrence of surface collapse and debris flows, which was developed independently in this application, and has confirmed the relationship with the occurrence of multiple landslide disasters in the past. it's finished. Additionally, by overlaying information on landslide hazard areas and maximum slope angles of terrain surveyed by each prefecture, it has been confirmed that there is a high correlation with landslide occurrences.
The "Dashable Rainfall Index" is the sum of the first tank of the soil rainfall index, which is used for landslide warning mesh judgment information, and the cumulative rainfall over 60 minutes. The incidence of landslides is higher in areas where the "Dashable Rainfall Index" reaches a certain threshold, so it is displayed in different colors depending on the threshold.

(1) Landslide hazard areas
Landslide risk areas are surveyed by each prefecture at the request of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and indicate areas where there is a risk of ① steep slope failure (landslide), ② debris flow, or ③ landslide. .
Landslide hazard areas are designed to help residents identify areas at risk of landslides, prepare for landslides, and provide warning and evacuation, and there are no legal regulations.
