Details

Only 10% of having a dog is training, but it's what so many dog parents waste 100% of their time doing! We look at dogs and see bad behaviours or want to prevent bad behaviours. However, just training is not how we achieve any of these goals. At MK9Plus, we learn not just how to train dogs but also about dogs... I know, it sounds obvious!

Undesirable dog behaviours communicate issues, and the behaviour itself is not the issue. Think of dog behaviour as symptoms! Mentally ill show undesirable symptoms and mental healthy show desirable ones! The problem is when we focus on training, our results don't last, or we get none at all, and unfortunately, this is when many people resort to using harsh methods and tools to force the dog to stop the behaviour. Hopefully, you can see where this is going!

At MK9Plus, we show you what's going on in your dog's brain and how we can help your dog's mental health. This changes the symptoms (behaviours) you're seeing or prevents symptoms from evolving, and together we can stop dogs from being misunderstood and mistreated.
