The Bibbia Nuova Riveduta 2006 App is a formidable free aid for reading and studying the biblical text. The app offers accurate reading, navigation and search functions essential for understanding the Sacred Text. It allows you to insert personal notes and bookmarks on each verse of the Bible and consult them in a simple and intuitive way at any time.
The application will allow you to:
- Consult the notes to the biblical text: over 23,000 notes indicating the other possible translations, the etymology, the exact translation contained in the many ancient manuscripts of the Bible (if there are differences), internal references to the biblical text.
- Access geographical and historical information contained in the introductions to the books of the Bible.
- Study the Bible through the thousands of parallel references proposed.
- Highlight passages of text, add bookmarks and personal notes with the ability to view and access them quickly from any medium you have (tablet, computer or smartphone).
- Search for verses in the biblical text.
- Access the chronology (very useful tool in the context of a biblical study or preaching).
- Read the Bible vertically or horizontally, navigating between chapters.
- Read the biblical text in night mode.
- Change the font size as desired.

The version used by the application is the Nuova Riveduta 2006 with all its critical apparatus. This is a revision of the previous 1994 edition, which is in line with the tradition of the text translated by Giovanni Diodati in 1607 in Geneva; at the same time it stands out both for its linguistic updating and for the revision carried out on the basis of those Greek and Hebrew manuscripts which were not available at the time of Diodati himself.
