Details
Learning platform for training and continuing education to become an emergency paramedic in Brandenburg.
(Based on the "Standard Operating Procedures and Treatment Pathways in Emergency Services 2023" of the State Associations of the Medical Directors of the Emergency Services in Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt from July 2023, as well as the differing content of the Barnim and Teltow-Fläming districts)
This small app provides an overview of all medications approved in the state of Brandenburg according to the SOPs and SAA that can be used by an emergency paramedic in the state of Brandenburg.
All medications are presented with dosage, contraindications, side effects, and mechanisms of action, in accordance with the current SOP content.
The "Scoring" section provides an overview of common scoring systems, such as the Glasgow Coma Scale, the SAMPLER or APGAR scheme, or the stages of hypothermia.
There is also a brief overview of the ECG and some pathological ECG forms.
The "Emergency Medical Techniques" section covers topics such as electrotherapy, chest unloading, NIV CPAP ventilation, and alternative access techniques.
The "Info" section provides an overview of age-adapted pediatric values. There is also an overview of legal principles. The axes of the human body are also identified, and there is a glossary of key terms.
An overview of infectious diseases, including the corresponding protective and disinfection measures, can also be found there.

Technical Information:
The app functions as an offline app and can therefore be used without an existing internet connection. Only the medication package inserts, which are provided as links, or specially marked information require an internet connection.
The app's file size is currently less than 60 MB. It is possible to move the app to an existing memory card within the device.
Regular updates will keep the app up-to-date.
If the app doesn't work as expected after an update, select the app on your phone under "Settings" -> "App" or "Storage" and clear the app's cache. Incorrectly stored cache data can cause the app to malfunction.
