To use Smart TV or TCL Roku remote control you need to be connected to the same WiFi network as the TV. Unlike most remote TCL tv apps, our app is optimized to instantly discover your TV on the network so you can connect with the TV with the tap of a button.

If the TV is not discovered with the app, you can manually add your TV or Android TV box. The app needs your IP address if you decide to add your devices manually. There are detailed video instructions, just in case you don’t how to find your IP address.  

Once you connect the remote, here are some available interfaces and control features:
‣ Remote control screen: remote control appears on the whole screen and you just need to tap buttons like a regular remote
‣ Touch pad screen: add favorite buttons to the top strip or navigate using the built-in touch area ‣ Apps screen: See all of the apps which are installed on the TV and open them. The favorite apps will be saved here also. ‣ Media screen: Gives a comfortable screen for media navigation

Compared to most remote TCL tv apps, this is also TCL Roku tv remote without wifi. Meaning you can connect to older TCL TVs via Infra-Red. To do that, simply switch the connection mode at the top of the screen and you can start using the remote right away. The remote interface will be the same as the one you picked at the beginning of the app.

For Wifi remote control connections:
- Connect on the same Wifi network as the TV

- If the TV is not found add it manually by adding the IP address
