Details

The Specialist Training series includes a growing collection of courses developed with leading medical societies, renowned authors and experienced examiners. This app allows easy access to the training content as well as additional knowledge modules, e.g. appropriate journal articles, videos and e.Medpedia entries. The content can also be used offline via the app. The prerequisite is a Springer Medicine login and the appropriate access rights to use the full range of functions. The specialist training courses focus on case-based knowledge in various course formats. The preparatory courses for the specialist examination cover the most important diseases relevant to the examination and consist of cases, illustrations, in-depth knowledge combined with the most common examination questions. The content is structured compactly and can be quickly grasped, and a personal learning light supports targeted editing. These trainings are specially designed for young colleagues with little time and high demands on the quality of the content. The intensive courses impart knowledge at various levels of difficulty from “standard” to “demanding”. All cases can be found in the search, allowing for quick reference. The offer is continually being expanded. Currently in the app: - Preparatory course for the general medicine specialist examination, published by the German Society for General Medicine (DEGAM) - Preparatory course for the anesthesiology specialist examination - Preparatory course for anesthesiological intensive care medicine - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in skin and sexually transmitted diseases, recommended by JuDerm - Young Dermatologists in the BvDD - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in gynecology and obstetrics, recommended by the German Academy for Gynecology and Obstetrics (DAGG), among others - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in otolaryngology - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in internal medicine, published by the German Society for Internal Medicine (DGIM) - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in pediatric and adolescent medicine, published by the German Society for Child and Adolescent Medicine (DGKJ) - Preparatory course for the neurology specialist examination, published by the German Society for Neurology (DGN) - Preparatory course for neurological intensive care medicine, published by the German Society for Neurology (DGN) - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in orthopedics and trauma surgery - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in urology, published by the German Society for Urology (DGU) - Preparatory course for the specialist examination in visceral surgery - Intensive ECG course - ECG Essentials (video course) - Advanced course in surgical techniques in orthopedics and trauma surgery - Basic course in geriatrics - Basic course in gynecological endocrinology The specialist training series can be tested free of charge. To use the content, a Springer Medizin e.Med subscription, membership in a medical association or access via a clinic license is required.
