Installing heat pumps to meet your heating and cooling needs is becoming increasingly popular. The first step in correctly sizing the heat pump is calculating the heating and cooling load.

The HP Calculator calculates the heating and cooling load of your building according to DIN EN 12831-1. In addition, the heating and cooling requirements are calculated over the year.

DIN EN 12831-1 represents the European standard for heating load calculation. The HP Calculator concentrates the countless parameters of the standard into a user-friendly input.

The heat pump can then be designed and the electrical costs and the payback period of the new heating system can be calculated.
