MAGNIFICAT is your constant companion for prayers, church services and life with faith, your foundation for morning prayer, evening prayer, Eucharist celebrations and meditations on the Holy Scripture.
MAGNIFICAT offers you the day’s prayer, the scripture texts of the Eucharist or the Word of God celebration, together with the responsive psalm and a scripture stimulus every day. On Sundays and religious holidays it gives you the complete mass service with additional suggestions for hymns and an interpretation of the Gospel by well-known authors from the fields of church and theology.
In the morning and in the evening MAGNIFICAT offers you access to the Liturgy of the Hours tailored to the people of our day and age. A brief morning and evening prayer inspired by the Book of Hours praises God in hymns from all epochs – from the early Christian hymns to the new spiritual song. It unlocks the rich treasure trove of the psalms for you. All petitions and intercessions are designed for the modern age. Information is regularly provided on the saints who are commemorated in the liturgy, as well as on Saint’s days and other particulars of the day. The Liturgical Calendar provides you with orientation through the church year. 
A number of articles explore a spiritual theme for the year for you in understandable language. MAGNIFICAT offers you the fundamental knowledge of faith and guides you into liturgical and spiritual topics. This is where you can find information about key persons and current events in church life. There is a meditative interpretation of the cover picture which is also well-grounded in history of art for each issue. In individual months MAGNIFICAT additionally offers you a prayer service and in summer submits an impulse for your own holiday.
MAGNIFICAT appears monthly. The app can be downloaded free of charge. Within the app chargeable downloads are possible. The downloaded issues can also be read offline.
