From the SUNBIRD nature guide series, this is the ideal digital guide to identify butterflies. Species can be sorted by families or genera in German or Latin. As a layman, the butterflies can easily be sorted according to color and shape and a result is quickly obtained.
In addition, by purchasing the in-app package "Photo Recognition" there is now the option of automatically identifying the little animals simply by means of a photo - unique, no other butterfly app has this.
Butterfly Id is a fun identification guide with all 150 butterflies in Germany and Switzerland. This app is the UK's best selling butterfly app and has now been specially adapted with the species for our latitudes. With over 500 nature photos, GPS localization, list function, butterfly quiz and much more.
The operation of a nature app is often complicated - not with our proven SUNBIRD apps - the clear and simple menu navigation and the excellent photos also characterize this app.
Unlike other nature guides, this butterfly app is based on an identification scheme developed by PhD biologists, which simply leads to the desired butterfly and a selection of similar species by answering 10 questions.
The special feature: In order to identify a butterfly precisely, no prior knowledge or zoological expertise is required!
The very good pictures, which show all moths in their natural environment with the front and back photographed, also help significantly. A selection was made from thousands of images to enable the species to be identified as reliably as possible. Careful selection of images is the basis for successful identification.
Extensive texts for description, similarities and ecology and much more round off this butterfly app. The texts in this app are not generally extended to Europe but were written specifically for GERMANY, AUSTRIA and SWITZERLAND. This applies, among other things, to population size, frequency, status and population development.
