Details

The enGuardia mobile application is a tool aimed to help care clinicians, born from the need of doctors who are on call and / or seek urgent pathology. It presents medical information, diagnosis and treatment of particular relevance to the doctor at the point of care and emergencies. Developed by the team iDoctus, creators of medical help application consultation in Spanish leader with more than 100,000 medical users, in collaboration with the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI), scientific and medical reference in Spain and Latin America. This partnership is a guarantee in itself, since the content has been created by ad-hoc working group of residents of SEMI, and on the other hand, the application has all the knowledge and experience in the design iDoctus and development of medical applications. Not surprisingly, the medical application iDoctus is number one in Spanish, and has an excellent rating from its users (4.5 Play Store valuation). The enGuardia application has a structure into four main sections: 1. Issues of differential diagnosis including diagnostic algorithms for diagnosis based on the signs and symptoms and other clinical information of the patient. 2. Themes of pathologies (70 issues currently and many other topics that will be added gradually) to cover the fundamental topics of urgent pathology. 3. interactive algorithms, detailed algorithms of diagnosis and prescription, which show and guide the doctor in the various courses of action. Related to each other, they refer to other protocols to have a complete view of the care process. 4. Suite of tools especially useful in emergency medical pathology. Currently with 21 tools such as Apache scale, the calculation of water deficit, the Wells scale, or the risk of bleeding in one patient (Has-Bled), among others, to which they will also be adding new calculators and scales, enGuardia successive developments. Belonging to the family of products iDoctus, enGuardia has the advantage of connecting with iDoctus (if the user has the appropriate permissions) and offer therefore answer through a unique experience of navigation and only two apps, the Most of the diagnostic information needs and prescribing physicians. As with all products and services iDoctus, great care has been part of dusabilidad for the doctor. With an intuitive design and navigation structure and well suited to the needs of medical and consistent to allow quick access to information. It also has built an iconographic layer that helps the physician to navigate the application, discover and use content.
