Detailed Application Description Goffitunes covers training the duration of the stimulus, the intensity of the stimulus and the duration of the inter-stimulus interval, at basic, intermediate and advanced levels, with progressive levels of difficulty. In each section, there is the possibility of training with different stimulus frequencies (500Hz, 1000Hz and 4000Hz), in addition to complex sounds similar to speech sounds like [ch] and [m], in addition to doh. Goal The Goffitunes objective is to train attention to the details of the acoustic signal that can contribute to the auditory perception of speech and, consequently, facilitate its recognition. One of its advantages is that it is an instrument that does not depend on verbal proficiency, language or mastery of the language. Goffitunes can also be used in individuals with normal hearing thresholds, but with difficulties in hearing sensation and / or discrimination skills. However, these individuals with normal hearing may not benefit from this training, considering it to be very basic or not very challenging. Instructions for use The perception of differences in intensity, duration and inter-stimuli will only make sense if the user can translate them into speech. Training with sounds at Goffitunes must be accompanied by the use of these skills, both in perception and in speech production. It is recommended to adjust the volume of the computer / tablet / cell phone to a comfortable intensity for each sound presented. Usage restrictions Make sure that the user has access to all stimuli used using his hearing device, be it a hearing aid or a cochlear or trunk implant. For this, he must have hearing thresholds in the free field with the device around 40 dBHL.
