AhnLab V3 Mobile is a security app for smartphones and tablets.
In addition to virus scanning before and after installing apps and when downloading files, it offers a variety of security features to protect your device, such as a PIN code to lock photos in apps and galleries to protect your privacy, and protection against loss or theft of your device.
It also has a child lock function that protects your children from harmful sites and apps and limits the time they can use apps.

- Scan
Detects viruses that attack the Android platform and harmful programs that access and leak personal information without your consent. By updating the engine, your smartphone will be safely protected from new attacks and new types of viruses.

The web blocking management function allows you to block access to harmful sites by specifying the categories to be blocked and the target apps to which the blocking settings should be applied. This is useful for preventing damage caused by viruses and phishing. To use the web with the settings made in the web blocking management function reflected, you must access the web using the secure browser or the target app.
・ Remote Control
When you lose your device, you can set an alarm, lock the screen, check the device's location information, delete or initialize data, and receive notifications when changing SIM cards.
*Note: Data deleted by the remote control function cannot be restored. In addition, AhnLab does not manage the passwords you set, so please keep them safe and do not lose them.

You can restrict access to apps you do not want your children to use, and prevent access to harmful sites by selecting blocking mode and blocked apps. In addition, there are many functions to protect your child's device environment, such as preventing in-app purchases, remote operation when the device is lost, and limiting app usage time by specifying days and times of the week. When accessing the child lock function or launching an app while access is restricted, you will need to enter your login information for My AhnLab (product link management site), so your child cannot change the settings.

・ You can reinstall the software even if you reset your device.

◆ About device permission for V3 Mobile
Device management app permission is granted by obtaining user consent and is used for the following functions.
・ Prevent uninstallation of V3 Mobile
Prevents viruses or malicious third parties from deleting V3 Mobile.
・ Screen lock and settings
Locks the screen when the device is lost.
・ Blocks intrusion attempts
If the PIN code is entered incorrectly five times in a row, the screen will be locked and an error photo will be taken with the front camera.
・ Device initialization
Initializes the device when the device is lost.
• Accessibility: Required to respond to URL and web security threats
• VPN connection: Required to check URLs and protect the device with web filtering
• Display over other apps: Required to provide real-time threat information and response guides detected
