Quickly and reliably identify the most common wildlife diseases of domestic wild species before the shot due to unusual behavior or conspicuous organ changes in the hunted piece with hundreds of photos of veterinary diagnosed findings from the practice of the experienced veterinarian and author Michael v. Keyserlingk-Eberius.

For hunting license applicants, the app offers exam-relevant knowledge to prepare for the hunter exam and helps young hunters on the safe path to hunting practice.

The topic of “game diseases” is not only a concern for young hunters about harming themselves or other people due to negligent ignorance of the game diseases that occur in our country and their symptoms.
In practice, even old hands in hunting often find themselves at a loss and unsettled in front of a piece that has been broken open and ask themselves whether the pathological changes discovered in organs or body parts make it unsafe to eat, whether a veterinarian needs to be consulted or whether there is even a risk of infecting themselves with one to infect a disease that can be transmitted to humans. Last but not least, the health and life of your beloved hunting dog are also at risk from some communicable diseases.

The Wild Diseases app is a perfect helper for hunters to be able to make an initial suspected diagnosis of the piece that has been broken into and to decide in the forest whether it is usable or dangerous for human consumption or whether it is even a reportable epidemic is present.

Together with Michael v. Keyserlingk-Eberius, the experienced veterinarian and well-known author of the standard work “Colour Atlas of Wild Diseases”, we developed the content of this app and illustrated it with over 266 photos from his many years of veterinary work.

The app specifically leads to potential suspected results, taking into account 45 wildlife diseases that can occur in our latitudes.

Assigned to the relevant wild diseases, it is pointed out which worrying characteristics are usually present. In this way, hunters can determine whether there is a direct risk to their own health and whether the game can be safely marketed as food under their own responsibility.

An extensive filter function enables easy and targeted finding of possible clinical pictures for a quick suspected diagnosis.

The Wild Diseases app with its interactive diagnostic filter offers a comprehensive and detailed overview of the dangers and the necessary knowledge on the subject of wild diseases in order to protect hunters and their four-legged hunting companions.
