ANMCO (National Association of Hospital Cardiologists) presents the new LDL-C GOAL app, an agile and immediate tool to identify the most appropriate treatment in the individual patient to achieve the ambitious lipid-lowering treatment goals suggested by the Guidelines and reduce the large number of events cardiovascular diseases that still affect our patients.
LDL-C GOAL helps the Doctor to evaluate the Patient's therapeutic options: by entering total cholesterol, HDL-C and triglycerides, the LDL-C data is automatically obtained, indicating the treatment in progress, the basal value of LDL-C is obtained, by defining the therapeutic goal and the type of therapy you are thinking about you will find the results you can expect based on the effectiveness of each therapy in clinical trials.
LDL-C GOAL is a simple and immediate app that ANMCO offers to Italian Cardiologists to be the daily companion in achieving the most ambitious goals in the effective control of cholesterol in Patients.
LDL-C GOAL is aimed exclusively at Doctors. This application does not offer therapeutic indications, but is exclusively a tool available to the doctor to consult the data from the scientific literature on the efficacy of drug treatments for hypercholesterolemia. In no case can the information on the APP be considered as an invitation to use particular pharmaceutical specialties. The information contained in this APP is not intended for the general public, Users are invited, even if they believe they recognize conditions common to them in the contents of this application, to consult their doctor or the reference Specialist for any therapeutic or management decision. of which ANMCO and the subjects operating on their behalf and / or in their interest do not assume any responsibility.
LDL-C GOAL protects privacy: the information and data entered using the APP are anonymous from the outset and are not stored on the device, there are no back-up routines, there is no method of transmission or transfer to the manager of the App, ANMCO or other healthcare professionals.
